Excellent. Great summary of Twain and other authors of his era. My favorite quote of Twain is not humorous, but very political!

“In the beginning of change, a patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. But when his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.”

Love the discussion of Huckleberry Finn. Just read James, but need to go back and read Huck!
