There is likely no one in Alexandria who has seen as much as Dana, helped as many people, diffused as many situations, solved crimes, volunteered endlessly, and was always positive and upbeat. To be with Dana in any part of the city was to run into people who knew him, thanked him, hugged him. It made the trips with him longer, but so much more enjoyable. He was a great police officer, detective and Sheriff. He deserves a good retirement as much as anyone I know.
